Miss Peach: Peachy Sweetness Huge Breasts
Miss Peach tells the story of Miki and her best friend and confidante Sakie as the two compete to represent Japan in the Miss Fruits International pageant. As she undertakes her harsh training for the campaign, Miki, however, has other personal demons to wrestle with in the form of memories of the child she was forced to give up some seventeen years before, after she became pregnant during a torrid affair with a tearaway biker back in the rural town where she grew up. Miss Peach is marked by the usual tenderness, lightness of touch, and nuance in script and performance of its director’s finest work. It is also notable for the final appearance of its star, Yumika Hayashi, one of the erotic film industry’s best-loved performers, and was released in September 2005, following her shocking death the previous June.
Yumi Yoshiyuki
Born 1965, Yumi Yoshiyuki began as a performer in the pink film industry, debuting in Toshiki Satô’s Petting Lesbian: Erogenous Zone (Pettingu rezu: Seikantai) in 1993, for which she was voted Best New Actress at the annual Pink Grand Prix awards. She has played in over 100 films, mainly in the pink genre, but also appeared in the Edogawa Rampo mystery The D-Slope Murder Case (D-saka no satsujin jiken, 1998). She also starred in her 1996 directing debut Chronic Rutting Adultery Wife (Mansei hatsujô furin-zuma), while Sisters Donburi: No Pulling Out (Shimai donburi: Nukazuni nakade) won her the Best Director award at the Pink Grand Prix awards in 1997. She has directed about twenty pink and erotic V-cinema titles through her Office Yoshiyuki production company, with a number of these, including Naughty Boys (Uwaki na bokura, 2001) and When I Need You Most (Setsunai kamoshiranai, 2004), for the gay market.
