In making use of different media—the Internet, animation, sculpture—Hyperlinks or It Didn't Happen undertakes a study of the influence of technology on the everyday emotional life of a contemporary human being. The multiplication of data about individuals allows for endless duplication and raises questions about the right to that data and preservation of one’s identity.
A British-American artist interested in the impact of technology on modern society. Won an Emdash Award (now called the Frieze Award) in 2012, and a Push Your Art Prize a year later. Was also nominated for a Future Generation Art Prize. Her work can be seen all over the world.
