A subtle, silent experimental film by an Austrian artist whose intention is to convey the essence of cinema. She sees this in the ability to present shapes and geometric figures hiding in everyday objects. She takes her inspiration from the works of German artists Gertraud and Dieter Bogner. Margreiter refers, in her film, to dialog from their art collection.
Born in Austria in 1967. Graduated from Vienna’s Art University. She is a photographer, video artist, and creator of art installations. Has made short films about architecture, the medium of film, and gender representation.
