The subjects of a retrspective at the 14th edition of the T-Mobile New Horizons International Film Festival chose for their protagonist French star Jean-Louis Trintignant. The scenes that the directorial duo chose often show the actor in the most prosaic of moments, sitting down, focusing, staring off into the distance. And just as we start getting used to Tringtignant’s different representations, he suddenly disappears.
