Captive Horizon

Lukas Marxt
Austria, Germany 2015 / 14’
experimental

Lukasa Marxt’s camera provides an aerial view of a desert landscape in which the only traces of human beings are the transport routes crisscrossing it. This vastness contains something that is both disturbing and fascinating. His images may perhaps give an impression of unadulterated freedom, but they equally convey a place filled with mystery, a place in which danger may be lurking.
