Nazif sells scrap metal and plays himself. Senada is his sick wife, who also plays herself in front of the camera. This allows Danis Tanović to draw a thin red line between a hostile reality, in which a Roma family lives and the fantastic world presented, in which her struggle to live plays out. The director brings his camera into a space marked by poverty and stages one of the most dramatic episodes in the pages of the biography of Mr. And Mrs. Mujić. It is a biography written in blood and exhaustion, immersed in hopelessness and seasoned with love, which, although it cannot move mountains, it willing to forgive everything – lies, deceit and back-door access to a public institution, as long as the door remains open for people living on the margins of society.
