A poetic impression about Odin's shield maidens, feminine figures of the Nordic mythology, who served heroes with mead and meat in Valhalla. Odin's Shield Maiden consists of intertwining images of mourning women in black, their white hands and waves at sea. The film was made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Winnipeg Film Group.
