The latest achievement by France’s Laure Prouvost is both a funny, fictitious story about her grandfather and a visual reflection on the influence of the creator of a work on that work and their lack of control over how their work is interpreted by the viewer. In this film, Prouvost blurs the boundaries between fiction and reality, inspired at the same time by what is real, thus providing an outlet for her imagination.
