Students

Krzysztof Zanussi
Poland 1963 / 14’

In France Zanussi was ravished by the New Wave. Upon return to Poland, he made a study with the New Wave spirit, as he says himself, based on improvisation - something is going on in the crowd, difficult to say what it is, but the camera is right in the centre of events. After this story set during the students' holiday, Juwenalia, the director was almost expelled from the Łódź film school. The main role is played by the future professor of history, Andrzej Paczkowski.
