One day, three men, all doing the same job - road workers. Observing them at work, we listen to their confessions, which sometimes drift in surprising directions. Although an aura of melancholy hangs over Sand, the film is full of humor and hope. After all, as the youngest of characters says, when Mars is colonized, they will need workers, not lawyers.
