Zuzia is 12 years old and has been training vaulting for several years. Because of her age and stature, the stronger girls are able to lift her, and so she is the top of the pyramid. When another season begins, it soon it turns out her figure is no longer as light or as graceful as it once was. She has grown up, and the older vaulters are unable to lift her now, so she has to find a new place on the team.

Monika Kotecka
Born in 1981. A cinematographer and photographer by education and newcomer director by practice. She studied social sciences and photography. Next step was the Lodz Film School at the Cinematography Department which she graduated from with honors. She participated in various photography and film programmes, such as Cinetrain, Triangle in Cooperation and City Space and creative worksops like Berlinale Talent Campus. Since 2012 she works together with Karolina Poryzała under Kurkot Kollektiv.

Karolina Poryzała
Born in 1978. A photographer and screenwriter. Her higher education began at the Zoology Department at Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW. She studied at the Photography Department in the Lodz Film School and finished a scriptwriting course at the Cracow Scriptwriting School. Her photographs from the Troma Trip America were exhibited in various venues, e.g. Foam in Amsterdam. Since 2012 she works together with Monika Kotecka under Kurkot Kollektiv. Currently she is working on TV-series script for a broadcaster and develops her debut feature film screenplay.
