Weed
A nonconforming weed unexpectedly disturbs the order in a somewhat atypical hothouse. It is so different that the quirky harebrained gardener stops working and takes the time to look at the new arrival. This weed awakes in him a curious anxiety, and upon closer inspection turns his world upside down.
Magdalena Pilecka
Born in 1987 in Nowa Dęba. Magdalena received her Master’s of animation from the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology where her thesis film Weed was realised under the artistic direction of professor Daniel Szczechura. She is also the co-animator and illustrator of music videos. Magdalena’s hobbies include illustration, photography and lithography. She is currently working on a children's cartoon series.
