To Thy Heart
Finally, there He was. Dreamed of, prayed for, anticipated, hypnotic – handsome, he had raven-black hair and stood by the swing. When he smiled, eyes would stand on end. Life with him was colourful – when he gave rein to his paranoia, she would do whatever he said. Using the simplest though expressive visual means, this animated film expounds the entire spectrum of a woman’s emotions, from total infatuation through bitter disappointment.

Ewa Borysewicz
She grew up in the Białystok region of Poland and is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow where, in 2009, she earned a degree from the workshop of Prof. Jerzy Kucia. In 2012, she completed an artistic residence programme in Tokyo and is the author of several short animated films for TVP Kultura promoting good behaviour during the Euro 2012 football championships. She is interested not only in animated films, but also in drawing.
