Justyna was just a child herself not long ago. Now, after her mother’s death, she’s trying to obtain guardianship over her numerous orphaned siblings. Soon, a painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa will visit her home for 24 hours as it has customarily travelled for years from home to home. The story of these families provokes reflections about faith in and out of the context of tragedy. It is also a story about Polish country villages and small towns as well as the customs associated with the cult of the holy painting.
Marcin Janos Krawczyk
Born in 1978 in Tomaszów Lubelski. He works as an actor and director. He graduated from Documentary Course in the Wajda School.
