Underlife

Jarosław Konopka
Poland 2010 / 8’

Birth, coming and going in a symbolically metaphorical story of one such pram, inspired by Krzysztof Komeda’s Lullaby among others. Whether a person can break free from under the influence exerted on one’s life by the time and place of birth, and by the event of turning up in one's own pram. And whether one is aware of the invisible, sometimes destructive, influence of our ancestors, which might result in one never being able to leave this pram?
