A film that’s like a visit to a sanatorium, which fortunately is closer to Davos than Ciechocinek. Directors Katarzyna Iskra and Justyna Pelc encourage several characters (including the director of Love Tasting and Filipka by Dawid Nickel) to surrender themselves to the hands of a therapist offering non-erotic touch sessions. The soothing effect of this unusual procedure also affects us, reminding us that cinema has the potential to be not only a space for reflection but also relaxation.
Katarzyna Iskra is a graduate of Film Directing at the Gdynia Film School. She received a government scholarship to Tel Aviv University, where she studied directing and created her first short films. Her diploma film Casting (2017) screened at numerous Polish and international festivals.
