The Zucker Bras of the title is the name of a family-owned lingerie maker. For decades under communism in Poland, Dawid Zucker made bras for the wives of top-level communist apparatchiks and stars of stage and screen. But today there are no customers in the shop in the borough of Leszno - everyone prefers cheaper, gaudy Chinese products. The aging master tailor and his sister, owners of Zucker Bras, use guerrilla tactics to take up the fight against Chinese bras. The Don Quixotes of youthful capitalism take on the Supermarket, represented by the chief of security: the Battleaxe.
