Outside, the depressing Polish 1990s, and at home, a grumpy, perpetually tired mother. The circumstances in which teenager Kazik grows up don't seem enviable. Fortunately, there is someone in this world who, through their existence, attests that a better, more colorful world stretches somewhere beyond. That someone is aunt Dagna, whose unusual name is matched by her extraordinary appearance and zest for life. However, the woman harbors a dark secret. How will its discovery impact Kazik's adult life?
